Providing spiritual and physical sight in Quito, Ecuador

It was a great privilege to serve God by serving the people of Quito, Ecuador. The team optometrist did a thorough exam in a dark room. Then I dispensed their glasses, tweaked their glasses prescriptions in some cases, and I had the privilege of witnessing and praying with the patients!

We were able to provide physical sight to both young and elderly people through the distribution of eye glasses. Many elderly patients were able to resume their Bible reading or sewing after they were given reading glasses. We were also able to restore the spiritual sight of many individuals by leading them to the saving knowledge of Jesus.

I enjoyed this trip because I felt that the Holy Spirit gave me more boldness than I'd ever had before. I witnessed freely and saw people tearfully receive forgiveness over and over. Thank you for enabling me to be a part of this!
